I'm a Level Designer at Lighthouse Games, where I’ve quickly gained essential skills that have significantly contributed to my professional growth. Collaborating with veteran Level Designers, each with a proven track record in successful game development, has provided me with invaluable experience. I've had the opportunity to learn from their expertise while constantly advancing my own. Throughout my time here, I’ve contributed to a wide range of design processes and projects, working on diverse maps and locations. Additionally, I’ve introduced new processes and solutions that have boosted the team's efficiency, allowing us to build and deliver content more effectively.
In addition to my design skills, I’ve expanded my technical expertise by learning tools like Gaea 1 and 2 for landscape generation, which enable the creation of high-detail brushes and stamps. I’ve also worked with the Errant Worlds plugin in Unreal Engine 5, which has enhanced collaboration and workflow in large-scale projects. By combining Gaea with Unreal Engine 5, I’ve streamlined the landscape development process, making it faster and more efficient.
I hold a degree in Computer Gameplay Design and Production from Staffordshire University, where I specialized in Level Design, focusing on creating beautiful, realistic, and immersive environments. Alongside my expertise in Level Design, I gained experience in visual scripting, cinematics, and VFX, working with both Unreal Engine 4 and Unity. These experiences—whether in larger projects or smaller experimental ones—have deepened my understanding of each engine.
I thrive in collaborative environments built on passion, trust, and strong communication. These qualities foster teamwork and allow everyone to learn from one another and grow together.
Beyond developing my own skills, I’m passionate about inspiring and motivating those around me. I enjoy helping others create their best work and believe that the process of creation is as rewarding as the end result.
My passion for game development was sparked when I played my first FPS game, which came with a level editor. This tool ignited my interest in Level Design, allowing me to create my own levels and experiment with game environments. Since then, I’ve continuously challenged myself to step outside my comfort zone and push my skills to new heights. As Albert Einstein once said, "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination."
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, listening to music, watching YouTube and films, hiking, and traveling.
